Location Overview

The Little Angels Needy Children & Orphan Project is located on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi (meaning ‘place of many little birds’).

Surrounded by steep-sided mountainous scenery and numerous local communities making it the perfect place to come and chill out on your way to or after your encounter with the mountain gorillas.

Lake Bunyonyi is about 25km long and 7km wide. With 29 islands dotting the centre of the lake and depths varying from 44m to 900m. The lake surface is a fresh 25 degrees Celcius, bilharzia free and perfectly safe for swimming. The spectacular scenery makes an overnight experience at Lake Bunyonyi more desirable than staying in Kabale with accommodation to meet all budgets and needs.
